Enabling business transformation through new technology

The client, one of the world’s leading aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service providers wanted to grow its traditional market share, expand into the year round air freight MRO business and introduce a more robust engineering platform to support the Group’s new fleet of Boeing aircraft.
To do this it knew it needed to invest in a new technology platform but wasn’t initially ready to drive the scale of change required to deliver the benefits and outcomes that the Group was anticipating.

Following a short readiness assessment, DAV worked closely with the client’s team to help them shape and plan a programme that would transform the people, process and technology aspects across the business and equip it for growth.

With momentum building, DAV supported the client through procurement of the new core solution and went on the take management responsibility for the full change programme. This consisted of 7 workstreams over an 18 month period and included the consolidation of multi-site engineering functions.

DAV successfully delivered the transformation, which has resulted in a fully integrated business, with complete traceability and visibility, fully optimised processes and procedures and, crucially, an operational platform that has enabled it to expand and develop into new markets – exactly in line with its strategic intent.
